The nurse claimed that he was ‘in a trance’ when he did the disturbing act.

Necrophilia has been around for millennia. As a matter of fact, there has been a lot of actual necrophilia in ancient times, and it is just as disturbing as it is now. A 1989 study revealed that the most common motivation of true necrophiles was “to possess an unresisting and unrejecting partner.” And really, what partner could be more “unresisting and unrejecting” than a corpse?

On the other hand, witnessing your loved one being desecrated by others can be enraging, disturbing, and extremely unacceptable. This was how a Bolivian man felt when he caught a male nurse having sex with his recently deceased wife.

According to reports, the man’s wife died just an hour prior to the indecent act, due to lung problems. The man wanted to bid his wife a last goodbye, but was shocked by what he saw in the morgue. He immediately hit the man and stopped him from doing the disgusting act.

Grover Macuchapi, 27, is now facing prosecution on charges of profaning a corpse and obscene acts.

The unnamed husband told a local newspaper: ‘I saw what he was doing and hit him. He was moving and he had his trousers down.’

The pervert hospital worker blamed his actions on a trance.

He was quoted as saying: ‘Something happened. It was like a dream. The next thing I remember was feeling a blow from behind when the woman’s husband hit me.’

Prosecutors said Macuchapi could not be charged with necrophilia because the offence didn’t exist under Peruvian law.

What is Necrophilia?

In Greek, nekros means “corpse” and philia means “love,” hence the term necrophilia, which is defined as “sexual gratification by having sex with the dead.” According to Wikipedia, necrophilia, also called thanatophilia, is a sexual attraction or sexual act involving corpses.
