Footage Shows Chinese Villagers Gathered Around Skeletal Remains of an Ancient Mythical Dragon

Do dragons really exist?

Dragons are among the most popular and enduring of the world’s mythological creatures. We see them in movies, in many games, and in books—but do they really exist?

It’s not clear when or where stories of dragons first emerged, but the huge, flying serpents were described by the ancient Greeks and Sumerians. The existence of these majestic creatures have never been proven—but this recent video footage might change many people’s beliefs.

Believed to have been taken in China, the footage showed villagers gathered around a huge set of bones. The 60-foot long unidentified creature’s remains had a skull similar to that of a cow, with two large horns sticking out. The Chinese villagers claim it was that of an ancient mythical creature—a dragon.

However, netizens were sceptical about how the bones were laid out, claiming it isn’t as ‘old’ as the villagers claimed it was. No expert has come forward to prove the claim to be false or real.

But this isn’t the first time humans claimed to have found the remains of ancient mythical creatures. Ancient humans claimed to found dragon bones, giant reptile skeletons lying out in the open, but they were unlike the bones of any lizard or snake or amphibians that they knew. Their pelvic bones were very different; they closely resembled those of birds. But aren’t these bones just that of a pterodactyl or an ancient flying dinosaur?
