He insisted that his ridiculous claim was true.
49-year-old Pete Garcia Hernandez was charged with three counts of indecency with a child, after several parents complained that he had kissed and touched girls from the first grade.
The former Looscan Elementary School substitute teacher claimed that his tongue ‘accidentally fell into their mouths’, and that he didn’t mean to do anything wrong. Three female students accused Garcia of kissing them, touching their chests, and telling them to sit on his lap.
Initially, Hernandez denied touching the students, but then said the kissing was an accident that occurred when he was “speaking close with them and his tongue accidentally went in their mouth,” according to court documents.
“[Houston Independent School District] takes situations such as this very seriously, as the safety of students is always the district’s top priority,” the school district said in a statement.
